Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.
Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds
anything we can understand.  His peace will guard your
hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Phillipians 4:6-7 (NLT)

When you walk through a storm,
Hold your head up high,
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm,
There's a golden sky,
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind, Walk on through the rain,
Though your dreams be tossed and blown...
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone.......
You'll never walk alone.
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone.......
You'll never walk alone.

Prayer for the Animals
by Albert Schweitzer

Hear our humble prayer, O God, for our friends, the animals.
Especially for animals who are suffering; for any that are
hunted or lost or deserted or frightened or hungry;
for all that must be put to death.
We entreat for them all Thy mercy and pity,
and for those who deal with them, we ask a
a heart of compassion and gentle hands and kindly words.
Make us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals,
and so to share the blessings of the merciful.

Prayers For Pets is a worldwide group of people who love animals, place our trust in God and believe deeply in the power of prayer. We came together in 1997 through our mutual concern for the steady flow of beloved pets who are sick, injured, lost or in any other kind of trouble. Though it began with a group of six Greyhound owners, our prayers are not limited to Greyhounds. Neither is it limited to dogs, or even to animals. Our focus is pets and animals simply because we saw an unfilled need. But we gladly pray regularly for any legitimate situation that is brought to our attention, whether animal-related or not.

Our pet prayers not only ask for healing or return of the sick or lost pet, but also for peace for the people that love those pets, and for wisdom and courage for those trying to help. We all know the fear and anguish that having one of our 4-legged family members in trouble can bring. Our more general prayers ask for healing, safety, deliverance, wisdom, comfort, peace, guidance and whatever else may be needed in any situation. All of our prayers include praise and thanksgiving, and all are asked to the glory of God.  Over the years there have been some real miracles among us.  Animals and people were given no hope of survival, but "somehow" they're still with us.  We know how, of course.  And we don't take the credit for it.  All of the credit and glory is God's and God's alone.

Please keep in mind that we don't always get the answer we're hoping for when we pray.  God ALWAYS answers, but sometimes He says "no."  We know He's listening and that He loves us all.  If He says "no" there's a good reason.  But you might be very surprised how often He says "yes" simply because a group of believers asked Him in faith.

We hope you'll bookmark this page...you never know when you might need it.

Requesting Prayers -
A
nytime you have a prayer need of any kind , or know of someone who does, please feel free to post your request in our guest book.  The guest book gets a lot of traffic, so as soon as you post it will activate immediate and ongoing prayer by a large number of people. Your request will also be posted shortly to our email group, so a few hundred more people will be joining you in prayer.  We hope (though it's certainly not a requirement) that you will keep us posted about how the situation turns out. While it's not necessary to even sign your request, if you would like return email from any of the group members, please post your email address with your name (first name is okay if you don't want to post your full name) on your request.  But please do not post the name or email address of anyone else without their permission.

Our Guestbook -
Our Guestbook is often a busy place. We welcome prayer requests there, as well as your comments.

  • If you have a prayer need, please feel free to post it there so that it might be seen by people outside our email group. We know many of those people will join you and us in prayer.

  • If you have had prayers answered, please post it in our guestbook. We want everybody to know that PRAYER CHANGES THINGS.

  • If you don't have a prayer need right now, we hope you are still invited to leave your comments.

  • IMPORTANT! Please do not post other people's full names or personal information without their permission. Our guestbook is open to the public.

  • If you don't care to leave a prayer request or a comment now, please click on the button to see what others have written. We hope you will join us in praying for those who have requested it, and be inspired by the faith of others.
